The HE/HO PTA is a vibrant, volunteer-based organization that offers fun and fulfilling ways for parents to become more involved in the Henking-Hoffman Community. We plan a wide variety of activities throughout the school year to compliment and enrich the excellent education our students receive here in District 34. From The Character Counts Food Drive and Holiday Helper programs to International Night, Family Science Night and Havinia, we strive to inspire compassion, community and offer our children meaningful ways to engage with one another! In addition to these events, the HE/HO PTA strives to make a lasting and meaningful impact on our schools by helping fund capital improvements like the new playgrounds that were built at Henking in 2017 and Hoffman in 2018.

What We Do
Raise Funds for our Schools!
The PTA strives to make a meaningful and lasting impact on the learning environments at our schools by helping to fund equipment and capital improvements like the new playgrounds built at Henking in 2017 and Hoffman in 2018. We also hold social events to raise money for our programs and initiatives like the annual Benefit and Havinia night!

Plan and Support Enrichment Activities
The HE/HO PTA plans a wide variety of activities throughout the school year to compliment and enrich the excellent education our students receive here in District 34. The Character Counts Food Drive and Holiday Helper program inspires compassion and teaches our kids to think about others all while helping local families in need. Visiting authors, cultural arts assemblies, the artist in residence program and events like International Night give our students a new perspective. Family friendly activities including the Book Fair, Havinia and the Hoffman City Carnival strengthen our sense of community and encourages us to get to know our neighbors.

…and so much more!
