The HE/HO PTA is a vibrant, volunteer-based organization that offers fun and fulfilling ways for parents to become more involved in the Henking-Hoffman Community.

What Does the PTA Raise Funds For?

In order to enrich and compliment the education our students receive and help build a sense of community, the HE/HO PTA funds a variety of programs and plans a wide range of activities throughout the year. In addition to these experiences, the PTA strives to make a meaningful and lasting impact on the learning environments at our schools by helping to fund equipment and capital improvements like the new playgrounds built at Henking in 2017 and Hoffman in 2018.  With your support we can continue to do this and so much more!!

What Kinds of Activities Does the PTA Plan & Support?

The HE/HO PTA plans a wide variety of activities throughout the school year to compliment and enrich the excellent education our students receive here in District 34.  The Character Counts Food Drive and Holiday Helper program inspires compassion and teaches our kids to think about others all while helping local families in need.  Visiting authors, cultural arts assemblies, the artist in residence program and events like International Night give our students a new perspective.  Family friendly activities including Movie Nights, Pancake Breakfast, Havinia and the Hoffman City Carnival strengthen our sense of community and encourages us to get to know our neighbors.

The Henking/Hoffman PTA is a local unit of the Illinois PTA and part of the National PTA.
